Question: How much does it cost?

Answer: Two people renting a firearm usually will cost around $100.00. It is difficult to give an exact amount without knowing what you will be purchasing. For a complete breakdown, please visit our
Price Page.

Question: How old do you have to be to rent a gun?

Answer: You must be 21 years old to rent a Pistol and 18 years old to rent a Rifle or Shotgun at Shore Shot. People under 21 may shoot as long as one person of the group is 21 years of age responsible for the rentals.

Question: How old do you have to be to shoot at Shore Shot Pistol Range?

Answer: The youngest shooters we allow are 12 years of age.

Question: Can I rent a gun if I'm shooting alone?

Answer: No one can rent a firearm by themselves. You can shoot your own firearm alone but can not rent under any circumstances without at least 1 partner / guest.

Question: Can I buy ammunition or do I need to bring some?

Answer: Shore Shot Pistol Range stocks almost every caliber of ammunition that we allow on the range. To buy ammunition in New Jersey you must have a valid State or Government Issued Photo ID or a New Jersey Firearms ID Card. ALL ammunition sales are documented and reported to the New Jersey State Police Firearms Division upon request. If you are going to bring ammunition, we have a few requests. DO NOT bring, WOLF, CCI BLAZER (Aluminum Cased), STEEL JACKETED, TRACER or CORROSIVE PRIMED ammunition. We will not let you on to the range. We only allow ammunition that we know is safe and will not cause our equipment or guests harm.

Question: Can I bring my own Ammo for Rentals?

Answer: No. All rentals need to use Ammo purchased at Shore Shot.
 

Question: What guns do you Rent?

We offer for rent a large variety of handguns and rifles. We have rentals by Glock, Sig Sauer, H&K, Smith & Wesson, Springfield Armory, Beretta and Ruger. We also rent NJ Legal AR rifles and Shotguns. If you are looking for a particular firearm, please call the shop as rental guns go in and out for service.

Question: Are you busy on Weekends?

The weekends are our busiest time of the week. During our busiest hours, the longest waits we have  usually have are around 1/2 hour. Now with our renovations and 12 booths the wait has been dramatically reduced. 

Question: Do you take reservations?

We do not take reservations.

Question: Do you sell guns?

Answer: Yes. Shore Shot Pistol Range does sell a complete line of firearms and accessories. We have partnered with major manufacturers such as Sigarms, Glock, Smith & Wesson, Ruger, Remington, etc to bring you the absolute lowest price possible. We value our customers and try our best to be fair and competitive with everything we sell.
